L-Theanine

L-Theanine is an amino acid, most commonly found in tea leaves, and identified by Japanese scientists in 1949. In foods, particularly green tea, L-theanine is thought to be a source of umami, the savory, brothy taste. L- Theanine has been studied to promote ease and relaxation without causing drowsiness.

NUTRITION
